The Multi Engine Instrument Rating allows Pilot to fly an aircraft with more than one piston engine under VFR rules. It is usually done in conjunction with the Commercial Pilot’s License.
Requirements to start the ME-Training
- Private Pilot License
- Night Rating
- 70 hours PIC
- 8 hrs ground school
- 1 written exam. It will cover technical aspects of the ME aircraft, flight performance and practical flight aspects.
- 6 hrs flight Training on a ME-Aircraft
At the end there will be an ME-Skill test.
